How to Find Gook Looking Cheap Baby Clothes

The one thing that all babies have in common is that they grow so fast. One day that cute little onesie fits perfectly and the next its so tight the snappers won’t close. That is why many parents fail to see the financial logic of paying a great deal of money for baby clothes (and some simply cannot anyway, especially in this day and age) but how and where can you find cheap baby clothes that will still look good? Some ideas.

Chain Stores – National chain stores like Wal- Mart, K-Mart and Target are all good places to shop for cheap baby clothes that are actually very stylish and won’t break the bank. Look for the store’s own brands though. For instance Wal-Mart’s line of Disney baby clothing is every bit as cute as that you would find at the official Disney Store – just at least half the price.

Discount Stores – Discount apparel store like Kohl’s, T.J Maxx and A. J Wright all offer wholesale baby clothes that are often ‘designer” brands at heavily discounted prices. These though are the kinds of stores that you have to visit regularly as their stock changes all the time and if you don’t snap up an item you like right when you see it the chances are that it will not still be there the next time you go back.

Keep an Eye out for Sales – Many of the pricier department stores like Macy’s and JC Penney have sales at least once or twice a year that allow parents to score cheap baby clothes. Often the offerings are out of season (or almost) but in the case of baby basics like onesies and rompers season does not really matter too much anyway.

EBay – since most babies do grow out of their clothes so fast EBay has become a great place for parents to recoup some of the investment they made in their child’s apparel and as a result you can find a lot of cheap and discount baby clothes. Large lots of cheap baby clothes are easy to find on EBay and many of them offer a significant amount of clothing for very low prices.

One word of caution though – make note of the shipping charges before you bid, some of them are quite high and negate any savings you are making on the baby clothes in the first place.

Consignment and Thrift Stores – Another great place to score cheap baby clothes is your local thrift or consignment store.

A consignment store pays a certain portion of the proceeds of the sale back to the person who donated the item so the baby clothes you find there have to be of the highest standard.

Most thrift stores though are very vigilant about the quality of the items they sell and both kinds of store are great places to shop for clothing of all kinds, especially cheap baby clothes. And of course there is the added advantage that there are no shipping charges to pay.
